Plyroom have launched Flor, a new collection of indoor planters designed for contemporary Australian living. Designed in Australia and made in Italy, the range was aptly named after the Spanish word for flower and consists of three vessel sizes with hidden casters. This clever element allows for the planters to be moved easily around the house to optimise conditions for growth and plant health. As someone who gets a little complacent when it comes to looking after plants, I love this idea! Made from natural materials with a clean, minimalist aesthetic, the planter also looks stunning.
“The design of this product has been an exercise in simplicity. The resulting plant vessel, which takes inspiration from the cylindrical shape of tree trunks and plant stems, is characterised by its clean lines, materials and craftsmanship,” says Plyroom founder, Elise Heslop.
Made from European Beech, the planter is visually light yet sturdy. In addition to being moved around easily and safely, the Flor pieces can also be used as portable open storage, making them highly versatile.
