Revisiting an Ikea classic today, the BESTÅ series offers simple yet functional storage solutions for the living room along with plenty of sideboard styling inspiration. With customisable dimensions, a selection of frames, gaps, fronts, leg stands, knobs and handles, the options are fun and varied. Demonstrating two styles below, the wall mounted sideboard in white-lacquered oak is my favourite. I can't resist the clean lines, pale wood finish and low level storage. Providing plenty of space on top to display a lamp, books, artwork and favourite objects, I love the effortless styling and textural details.
The second design features a concrete-inspired finish, white marble top plate and new legs in chrome steel. A little more moody with a darker palette this time, I love the textured walls and rustic details.
