Kicking off the week by doing the rounds of my favourite Swedish real estate sites, I've picked out some favourites to share. There's never a shortage, but I like showcasing different style interiors. While there are some fundamental aspects to Scandinavian design, namely around form and function, letting as much light in as possible and a soft minimalist aesthetic, styling does vary from home to home. All inspiring, today's round up includes older homes, the classic 'white and bright' look, a colourful residence and a new dwelling.

With beautiful herringbone flooring, this home has a cosy, lived-in feel with warm elements and a light-filled bedroom. The dining room is my favourite area with its large marble table surrounded by vintage Series 7 chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen. I also love the gallery wall and cone shaped pendant light.

With a bright, contemporary feel, this home has a sunny disposition thanks to pops of colour. I especially like the yellow hues which mimic the trees outside. The bright tones are cheerful and uplifting, while the muted ones are mellow and warm. And the rattan elements are perfection!

Showing that white on white interiors will aways be timeless, this home has some beautifully curated corners. My favourite is the bench seat (possibly a DIY?) styled with a statement light, piles of books, a beautiful sculptural piece and gallery wall above.

I love how this beautiful turn of the century home has retained all of its original features including high ceilings and wall panelling. The kitchen's warm, tonal effect with beige on beige is really soothing.
The Penthouse Bakery by Oscar Properties is a luxurious new residence with thought behind every detail. A home characterised by stunning materials and high-end design elements, it even features a beautiful roof terrace equipped with outdoor kitchen, sauna, jacuzzi and shower!
