Some beautiful inspiration for your Friday, this project came to my attention over on Instagram this week and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. Created by Atelier Creative Varsovie, the design is by Magdalena Radałowicz-Zadrzyńska, with visualisation by Katarina Rulinskaya. So incredibly life-like, I actually had no idea these were renders until I started researching the studio and found the full project on Behance. Located in a historical building, the dynamic interiors combine contemporary design with charming mid-century finds.
Combining refined elegance with a Parisian-style sophistication, the living area features soft beige walls with subtle mouldings. I love how the wall with the marble framed fireplace and built-in shelving provides a focal point for the room. I've been seeing more variation in parquet flooring lately and I love the intricate style featured here. Trendenser shared a great guide this week if you're looking for inspiration. The dark wood brings a depth and richness to the space, while the silvery blue rug and round marble table add contrast and texture to the minimalist curved sofas.
The kitchen design with its glass and metal framed exterior and curved wall is so unique. Cabinetry in blue - an accent colour that continues throughout the home - is paired with a marble benchtop and glossy tiles in a sage green colour. These elements inject the space with a beautiful, tactile quality, while statement lighting provides an eye-catching feature in and around the room.
Such a calming colour for a workspace, I love the perforated detailing on the walls and statuesque desk. A switch to chevron flooring here, I can't go past this traditional finish.
Layered with beautiful textiles - from the rug and bedlinen through to the textured wallpaper, custom headboard and curtains - the bedroom is a luxurious sanctuary.
Can you imagine anything more decadent than a Pierre Jeanneret chair in the bathroom? Together with a beautiful French wallpaper by Ananbo and freestanding bath, this space is a true haven. Oh how I'd love to escape here after a long week!
