The latest imagery from Muuto presenting their Spring News for 2019 features the most sublime colour palette. Buttery yellows, muted orange, soft pink and earthy greens are set against neutral lime washed walls and concrete flooring. Beautiful hues to soften the raw finishes and showcase the incredible range of design pieces, the Danish brand never fails to inspire.
One of my favourite new product releases includes the Ambit Wall Lamp, the latest addition to the Ambit family by Stockholm-based TAF Studio. A flexible light that explores form and proportions in a meticulous way, TAF reveals a unique dynamic between linear and rounded shapes that gives the lamp its unique outline and timeless design. Featuring an adjustable arm and turnable head, the functionality is met with a clean expression thanks to no visible screws, and handspun aluminium for an elegant touch. The Ambit wall lamp is ideal for a study corner, entrance hall, sleeping area or workplace.
The new Linear Wood Series by Danish designer Thomas Bentzen translates the values of elegance, longevity and functionality into modern Scandinavian design. Comprising a table and bench (available in two sizes), made from traditional Scandinavian materials with oak veneer at the frame and legs along with plywood on its top surface, the Linear Wood Series combines the warmth of wood with a timeless, understated shape. Shown here alongside the Enfold Sideboard Low also by Thomas Bentzen, and the Fiber Side Chair by Iskos-Berlin, the muted yellow is such a warm, happy hue! The Linear also comes in a Steel version designed for outdoor spaces, in four gorgeous colourways. Take a look here.
The Oslo Side Chair is the latest member of the Oslo family designed by Anderssen & Voll, and the first-ever upholstered side chair from Muuto. Its smooth, embracing curves give it a sculptural inviting design, while the slender legs provide an elevated and refined look. Available in various upholsteries by Kvadrat and Rohleder, I love the earthy green colour featured above.

Muuto have also introduced the Relate Side Table by Swiss design studio Big-Game. A simple and easy-to-use side table with a visual lightness, the table’s silhouette juxtaposes the idea of two shapes connected by a bent metal bar. With its sturdy bent foot integrating visually on the base, the bar allows the user to easily pull the table in or out, making it a convenient companion for any sofa setting. It can also be used for displaying books, vases and other objects, adding a touch of modern design to any space.
