Goerlich Apartment is a personal project by Valencia-based architect Gabriel Fabra Pérez. A captivating home, the spaces are refined yet tactile, bringing together a mix of textural elements across a warm, earthy palette. With a soft beige hue providing a serene canvas, the subtle layering of moody brown tones together with honey and amber accents brings depth and contrast. A beautiful play between light and dark, this is further enhanced by the use of both natural light and cosy, candle-lit corners.
I love the apartment's high ceilings and elegant windows. The clean lines, raw materials and rich timber elements are softened by long textural curtains that drape beautifully on the floor and seating upholstered in soft velvets. With the temperature having dropped here in the last few days, this is providing the perfect Autumn mood for staying at home. I can imagine sitting by the fireplace with a book and a hot cuppa!
