Anyone who has ever built or renovated a home will have spent time looking through design brochures, either in print or online. I remember looking through so many bathroom catalogues it made my head spin! I've just come across the online catalogue for a design company in Denmark Designa, who create quality flatpack furniture for kitchens, bathrooms and wardrobes. The products have a timeless quality and have been beautifully styled with a mix of simplicity and elegance.
What's amazing is that these images have been created using 3D technology. 3D artists are so good these days, it's sometimes near impossible to differentiate between 3D and real-life photos. The finer elements and attention to detail is incredible, right down to the streams of sunlight and inclusion of Danish design brands like Muuto. I did a bit of research and found that the 3D company in Denmark who produced these is 3d-empire, who also work with Danish brands By Lassen and Hay.
Designa has many stores throughout Denmark and Norway as well as distributors in Asia, but for those of us outside of these areas, I think the catalogue alone can provide plenty of tips for choosing products locally. You'll gain ideas for home design in terms of layout and use of space, as well as plenty of styling inspo! Take a look here.
I love the clean lines of the white cabinetry in the kitchen and concrete flooring. Dark wood, black, copper and glass accessories provide the perfect finishing touches.
