The Mocka Jimmy Stand is a stylish storage solution, designed for keeping everyday items organised in the home. To demonstrate its versatility, I've styled it in two different ways to share with you you today.
The first is in my office, below the Stendig Calendar. This spot had been calling out for a piece of occasional furniture for sometime. I often place one of our extra stools there but mostly it has piles of magazines on the floor and artworks leaning up against the wall below. While I do quite like this relaxed look, lately I've been wanting to get a bit more organised. I wanted something that had a simple low-level design, clean lines, and of course a place to store and display things. The Ikea Trendig cart which I featured here was a strong contender but thanks to a contact in Scandinavia I found out it had sold out worldwide. Not long after, I came across the Mocka Jimmy Stand and I knew right away I had found a fantastic alternative.
What I love most about the Jimmy Stand is that it can be moved around from room to room, wherever extra storage is needed. The hallway is ideal, providing additional space for shoes and bags. Looking right at home below our Muuto Dots, I actually really love this little area of our home, which I walk past many times a day to and from my office. The Garcon Cap and White Feltball Garland are new in from Style Trader, and the artwork is part of a series that belonged to my Dad. Passionate about his work in textiles, Dad loved the vintage loom drawings, and passed them on to me and my sisters.
The Jimmy Stand also works well in the bathroom, where extra storage is needed for towels and toiletries. Also available in pure white, it super affordable, priced at just $49.95 NZD! For more info take a look here.
