Starting the week with a Mix Up is great because I can go through all the finds I've bookmarked from the week prior. I do however try to group them according to similarity, and I'd have to say that while today's picks all include examples of impeccable design featuring clean lines and simplicity, they also have a bit of a masculine feel.
First up, these kitchens are the work of ARIS Architects, who have offices in both Italy and Tunisia. With a focus on cutting edge design that is both environmental friendly and sustainable, the attention to detail is really impressive. I love the use of wood which adds interest and warmth to the bright white walls and textural concrete.

You may have noticed I have a thing for coat hooks, so when I got wind of my favourite Danish brand Menu doing their own take on one for their Autumn Winter 2014 collection, I knew it had to be good. Designed by Stockholm studio Afteroom, the Coat Hanger is made from powder-coated aluminium and is simple yet striking thanks to a clever design, featuring horizontal and vertical bars and dot-shaped coat hooks.
Available in black and white, I can't think of anywhere more stylish to hang the dustpan! (For the record, I also want that Menu Dustpan and Sweeper). The new Afteroom products for Menu are due to be launched, along with a new Lounge Chair and Bar Stool at the Maison & Objet trade fair in Paris, which runs from 5 to 9 September.

Another one of my favourite Danish design brands Muuto have recently launched some new products. The Airy Coffee Table by Cecilie Manz, shown below alongside the incredible Peter Skogstad Soft Blocks Sofa was inspired by the idea "to create a coffee table that did not scream but still was not afraid to speak." Mastering a fine balance between being light and airy, while still packing a punch in terms of personality and individuality, I think it is quite possibly the perfect combination!

A private apartment in Florence, this next home was designed by Filippo Carandini Studio. The large open plan spaces give a feeling a grandeur, while the herringbone flooring and internal steel doors are two standout features for me.
