The kids went back to school and kindy today and the early start/morning rush was a bit of shock to the system! I'm also getting my head around the fact that we're halfway through October. As I'm sure many of you know, the last term of school is always a hectic one, with the life-work busyness reaching new heights, along with Christmas fast approaching. I do however feel a sense of calm at being able to blog without any distractions for the first time in two weeks, and waking up to 28K+ followers on Instagram this morning has given me an added boost! Here's a look at what's been happening since my last IG post.

I have three gorgeous feeds to share with you today, starting with @witandelight by Minneapolis-based art director and designer and Kate Arends, who has a blog and design studio by the same name. Kate's passion for art, fashion and culture gives her an eclectic perspective on style which she showcases beautifully on Instagram, capturing moments throughout her day to day life. I highly recommend you join her other 100k+ followers, and also check out her blog if you haven't already. I've been following for a long time, so you can imagine my joy at receiving a couple mentions form Kate this year, including one saying my blog was her 'new favourite' at the end of this post!

Another highly creative individual, Meghan Plowman has a background in arts, graphic design and photography. Based in Perth, Western Australia, she currently works as an art director and stylist. I really enjoy seeing glimpses of her work on Instagram, which are often the results of collaborations with other creatives. Here are a few favourite picks, but you will find plenty more at @meghan_plowman, where she has a whopping 34k+ followers. Meghan is also currently working on the relaunch of her website The Orchard, so keep an eye out for that next year.

A lover of black, white and wood interiors, Germany-based designer and stylist Seraina Silja has perfected the art of creating consistency in her exquisite feed, @serainasilja. Always staying true to her own design aesthetic, no photo ever looks out of place. Having followed her on Instagram for a while, I just checked out her site and was further impressed by an extensive portfolio of graphic design and styling work. After I finish this post I'm heading back to see more!
