Designed by the visionary designer and architect Mogens Lassen in 1955, Saxe is a distinctive and timeless folding chair. Newly launched by by Lassen to mark the 60th anniversary of its design, the chair unites function and aesthetics with an affectionate nod to the Nordic region's materials. Mogens Lassen was strongly inspired and influenced by his surroundings, constantly experimenting with styles, basic shapes and materials. I love the chair's leather and wood elements and minimal, organic form.
A new version of the by Lassen Twin Table (first introduced to you in this post) has launched with the characteristic reversible table top in brass and misty green. I've always loved the signature cube style of the Twin and its beautifully minimalist form. The raw, yet elegant allure of brass combined with the deep green surface flawlessly compliment the warmth of Nordic wooden floors.
