Studio You Me | Revisited

I first introduced you the Melbourne-based design firm Studio You Me back in 2013. Founded by Kestie Lane and Hana Hakim, the talented pair work across a broad range of projects, with an impressive portfolio that extends beyond interior design to graphic, event, urban, furniture and product design. The studio's ethical philosophy eschews the mass-produced for the custom crafted, and this shows through in their beautiful work. I love their fresh approach and heavy use of monochrome layered with alluring textural elements.

In today's 'revisited' post I'm going to show you a couple of recent projects by Studio You Me, starting with the incredible Artedomus showroom in Richmond. A collaboration with Thomas Coward, the dramatic transformation has given the showroom a serene, gallery like feel. Made up of curated zones centred around Italian bathware company Agape, it features Japanese ceramics, European porcelain and exclusive stones.

Due for completion early next year, Maple residential apartments in Hawthorn are very Scandinavian in style. I love the interior mix of white, pale wood and marble. Black accents including lights and tapware are very much in fitting with the gorgeous Studio Me aesthetic. I look forward to seeing these come to fruition.
