Originally starting out as a glass factory, it's little wonder that their glass products are always aesthetically beautiful and of the highest quality. I love the little blown glass tealights above. The new stackable Plektra shown below is the result of a collaboration between Iittala and Dutch designer Ineke Hans. Holding the middle ground between side table and stool, I can see so many uses for this functional piece of furniture, such as a bedside table, or even as an extra stepstool for the kids. Made from high-quality plywood it fits well in Iittala’s family of simplified, yet playful and practical interior products.

Easy to move from room to room, I love the way the two heights look together in contrasting colours, so I think I'd have to get both! Find out more here.
