It's one thing to strive for a classic, understated home filled with enviable Danish design, but imagine going to work and being surrounded by such beauty? For those who are based at the headquarters of Dansk Mode & Textil, this is their daily reality. The offices, located inside a neo-classic mansion built in 1835 were designed by Copenhagen studio HelleFlou. Established in 2011 by architect and designer Helle Flou, the studio's focus is on creating functional interiors that tell an interesting story. Their resulting spaces are not only beautiful, but also timeless and meaningful.
The predominantly white interior is enhanced with pale wood and a pretty palette of soft greys and pinks. I love the subtle contrast of gold accents which can be seen on the doors, light fixtures and those incredible original wall panels. An assortment of Modern Danish furniture gives each space a refined elegant feel, while the overall design dutifully respects the history of the building. A truly gorgeous blending of old and new wouldn't you agree?
