Dubai-based Australian Georgia Macmillan spent years working in news journalism and PR, before returning to her first love of art. Creating beautiful watercolour illustrations, she has just launched a Homeware Collection featuring 100% linen cushions, throws and napkins, all digitally printed with her unique designs.

A native Queenslander, Georgia worked for a number of luxury brands in Sydney before moving with her family to Dubai two years ago. She credits both the move and motherhood for reigniting her love of art and began by producing a small range of hand-painted greeting cards. Proving a hit in Dubai and all over the world, Georgia was soon taking orders for everything from hand-painted wedding stationery to larger scale commissions and works on canvas. As you can see from the gorgeous new collection, her original artworks have translated beautifully to textile products.

The range consists of six different double-sided Cushions (with beautifully plump 100% duck down inserts). The vibrant Indigo Series is designed to mix and match, while the Grey Days will appeal to those who love more muted tones. The Big Throw and Napkins (available in a pack of 6) complete the collection.

Styling by Tory Waller and photography by Abbi Kemp

The gorgeous photoshoot took place in Georgia's Dubai studio, where all the products are designed and artworks are made. Danish design store D.Tales provided a secondary location, and I have to say, the pieces look right at home alongside the Scandinavian furniture. Freddy the family labradoodle is pretty cute too!

Georgia, who is also the Lifestyle Editor at The Grace Tales, sells her products exclusively via her online store. Worldwide shipping is also available.
