Sorry for being MIA yesterday. I have a lot going on right now with both work and family. I really wish I could clone myself at times, especially when meetings take up those precious school hours and we then have to rush off to classes like Hip Hop and Karate! I'm collaborating with a few different companies on styled blog posts, so there are good things happening and I'm also hoping to start work on a little outdoor project soon. It's been on hold since we moved in because I haven't got around to painting or staining our deck but I've finally started to put the wheels in motion. If it comes to fruition you will be the first to know! In the meantime I'm looking for ideas that fit with my vision of creating a relaxing little summer haven. There will be low-level furniture including a daybed, which I've just ordered, possibly a coffee table and some beanbags, and a scattering of cushions and throws. All very soft and textural, I'm imagining a beautiful summer palette of pastels and muted tones.
