Under new creative director Anna Teurnell, who was formerly head of design at & Other Stories, Finnish Design House Marimekko is launching a new collection of textiles and vases. The gorgeous new pieces have been designed by renowned Scandinavian glass designer Carina Seth Andersson. Dream team Lotta Agaton and Petra Bindel have done an amazing job of styling and photographing the campaign imagery, which you can see more of here.

Those of us in the southern hemisphere will have to wait a while for the new collection to reach us, but still plenty on offer in the current winter collection. I especially love the Ruutu-Unikko pattern in the soft grey and white. It works beautifully as both bedding and as table runner. For those who love brights, the bold colours and patterns that Marimekko are known for pack a punch against the monochrome backdrop.
