When it comes to Stockholm Design Week, Lotta Agaton's work for String is always a highlight and this year is no different with reports of it being one of the most popular stands. As always, I've enjoyed seeing images floating around the web taken by bloggers, but this time around I've also loved seeing her work featuring Note Design Studio for Residence magazine. Now showing at ArkDes, the exhibition has been curated by Lotta as an interpretation of Note Design Studio, showing both their wide production and business activities, while also emphasising the aesthetic values and the role of design in a home environment. I absolutely love the layout and overall design concept of this exhibition and can imagine walking through the expansive space, stopping to take in each incredible display. I'm particularly inspired by the different colour palettes and wall textures, with each 'room' featuring a beautifully styled collection of furniture, lighting, art and objects.

The exhibition will run until February 28th.
I recently came across a wonderful interview with Lotta Agaton, giving further insight into her creative world, including upcoming projects and what inspires her. Interviewed by the lovely and talented Leila Budjen of Ligne Studio, you can read it here.
