While it's no secret I love pale wooden floors, I'm also the first to admit that dark variety can look amazing. Today's home has a bit of both, but its the dark herringbone that initially caught my eye. The richness of the colour and texture of the grain is divine. Paired with grey walls and muted accents, the overall effect is really quite striking.

With the cold weather arriving on our doorstep this week, the sunny little bedroom is causing me to sigh a little. There's something so appealing about fresh white bedlinen and I love the softness of the sheer curtains gently blowing in the breeze.
