I first discovered Eadie Lifestyle when I worked with their beautiful products on the norsu shoot a few months back. Very much in fitting with the campaign's nordic style and soft colour palette, the quality of the fabrics and attention to detail left a lasting impression. I've since been in touch with Eadie Lifestyle founder Trudie Cox and am very excited to share the brand's story with you today, along with their gorgeous new Summer 2016 Collection, showing right now at the Melbourne Gift Fair.

Launched two and a half years ago, Eadie Lifestyle has since made a name for itself among retailers, stylists, designers and lovers of all things interior, for its covetable range of cushions, throws and bedding. Eadie herself is a character that Trudie steps into when she designs the collections. Her creative compass as such, Eadie is a stylish icon who appreciates understated international style. Trudie knows her well, from the wine she drinks through to the art she appreciates and the flowers she has in her home. Each style in the collection is inspired by an Eadie experience; whether it be a vacation, a friendship, a great dinner party, or a broken love affair. Rather than following trends, Eadie creates her own style. Every piece is designed by a small in-house creative team in Australia with a focus on providing timeless, relaxed and versatile collections. Fabrics are all-natural and bespoke; woven exclusively for Eadie - and to its exact standards and thread counts - by hand selected artisanal weavers around the world. Each cushion has the plumpest feather insert to ensure it feels as good as it looks. These are relaxed basics for living that are beautiful and functional.

The Summer 2016 Collections introduce digital prints, top-stitch detailing, gorgeous tassling, rich velvets, slubby silks, vintage linens and sumptuous bedding in colour stories that work across a range of decorating styles:

Soft Scandi: Eadie captures the land of the midnight sun in silvery greys, moonbeam white and hints of pastel and earthy pinks

Modern Mono: sleek, urban and subtly masculine, Eadie’s pared back style is perfected in layers of charcoal, black and white

Luxe Bohemium: Rich earthy tones of sand, clay, olive and blue – all representative of elements of nature. Slightly Bohemium, always sheik. Eadie uses this gorgeous range to give an extra dimension to its classic neutrals

New neutrals: earthy neutrals never go out of style and this Summer Eadie keeps it fresh by contrasting subdued shades of stone and cement with layers of pattern and texture

Styling by Lara Hutton and photography by Maree Homer

Hitting the mark in terms of both elegance and comfort, I'm loving everything about these new pieces. From the muted colour palette though to the textures and unique detailing, this is a truly beautiful look for summer. To bring some of the magic into your home, shop online or visit one of the stockists across Australia and New Zealand.
