A woven wall hanging has been on the wishlist for so long, I've lost count of the times I've made mention of it on the blog. I finally made a decision after falling in love with one that I spotted in the 2017 Dulux Colour Forecast. Created by Australian brand Warped Threads, I was drawn to the natural textures and warm colour palette. The size of the piece was also perfect. Each wall art is made by hand by Nicky and Courtney, the talented duo who founded Warped Threads after discovering a mutual love for tapestry weaving early in 2014. Rather than working off determined patterns, they take a more spontaneous and organic approach to their work, enjoying the slight variations that make each piece unique. Having hung mine on my office wall, I couldn't be happier with how the neutral tones and pure wool woven textures look against the greige walls, while the Tasmanian Oak rod fits perfectly with all of the other wood accents.
