For the gorgeous summer issue of Homestyle I have taken inspiration from a light and airy kitchen in a beautiful Swedish summerhouse. Featured previously on the blog, the home's kitchen left a lasting impression because of the pitched roof, exposed ceiling beams and textured concrete walls. I immediately thought of the exciting new range of Dulux paint products, in particular Dulux Concrete Effect, which cleverly mimics the look of concrete.

Along with the polished flooring and rustic table, these concrete elements give the kitchen a relaxed feel, perfect for a summer getaway. Warm timber accents, elegant pendant lights and innovative products from Fisher & Paykel complete the look. To see all of my styling tips make sure you grab yourself a copy of Homestyle, on sale now.
