I first discovered Studio Henry Wilson back in 2015 through Cult Design. I was on the hunt for a bench seat for this bedroom shoot and I found the perfect solution with the Sydney-based multi-disciplinary design studio's incredible A-Joint Bench. Having enjoyed following the studio ever since, their products designed by studio founder Henry Wilson always wow. A current favourite is the Surface Wall Sconce which consists of a light source that is sandwiched between two bronze components and projected onto a concave backing. The light follows the gentle bowl of the dish and is directed outward, reflecting a warm glow of light onto the opposing surface. Cast in gunmetal bronze, the sconce is beautifully sculptural whether in use or switched off. The Sconce can be found inside the gorgeous interior of Sydney's Paddington Inn shown below.

I also love the ambient Surface Sconce. Providing a striking table top solution, the design allows for the sculptural light to be cast in two halves from solid gunmetal. Because each casting is manufactured in small batches, slight variations, making each piece unique.
Seen here in the Triibe Concept Studio, the gorgeous space also features custom A-Joint Tables in walnut veneer and the Thoronet Dish, both by Studio Henry Wilson. Located in Surry Hills, the Triibe Concept Studio was created by Jessica Stewart and Christina Symes of interior design firm Triibe as part of an ongoing in-house project which sees the talented duo continually transform their studio with a new scheme.
