It's no secret that I've had the iconic FLOS 265 wall lamp designed by Paolo Rizzatto on my wishlist for a very long time. Lately I've been dreaming about the FlOS AIM, a pendant light that like the 265 is uniquely minimalist and also destined to become a design classic. Designed and created in Italy by brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, AIM is naturally positioned in space ‘like a plant’ with long cables providing maximum freedom to adjust the direction and height of the light source. Similar to hanging vines, the long, free wires allow for infinite adjustability while providing a sense of the natural, as the wires seem to develop and grow like branches or climbing plants.

The lights look incredible suspended from the high ceilings of the London Display Loft above. A re-development of the iconic Saint Martins School of Art in Charing Cross, in collaboration with Soho-based design hub 19 Greek Street, see more of this amazing apartment here.

Above the kitchen island or dining table, the AIM lights would certainly make a great talking point at a dinner party.
