I've talked a lot lately about natural elements and wanting to introduce more into my home. Especially as the weather warms up, as demonstrated in my post from last week - Springtime | Bringing the Outside In. This week I've come across a couple of studio spaces that are offering some fresh inspiration, not just for my home but the studio I dream of one day having!

The first is located in downtown Los Angeles and belongs to fashion designer Shaina Mote. Known for her pared down, graceful collections, her pieces are all about clean versatile shapes with feminine cuts and structural play. Inspired by her travels, including a recent trip to Kyoto, this is reflected in both her designs and studio interior. Filled with light, natural materials and plants, it has a warm and relaxed feel.

Pop over to here to see the full studio tour and read an interview with the designer.

This next space is also filled with lush greenery and plenty of natural light. Belonging to the young but highly acclaimed Italian design duo Simone Farresin and Andrea Trimarchi of Formafantasma, it serves as both their home and studio. Concrete floors, white walls and exposed beams provide the perfect backdrop for the designers and their team to work on the incredible collections and objects that can be found at both MoMA in New York and the V & A in London, and at the influential gallery Spazio Rossana Orlandi in Milan.

Visit Formafantasma to check out some of their incredible work.
