This incredible French home belongs to interior designers Pierre Emmanuel Martin and Stéphane Garotin of Maison Hand. Located in the Ainay district of Lyon, the 140 square metre apartment is on the third floor of a building that dates from 1852. The historic area, once home to aristocratic families involved in the silk trade has become a destination for stylish interior design stores, including Martin and Garotin’s own, Maison Hand. Just a three-minute walk from their home, they stock leading furniture brands as Living Divani, Carl Hansen and Gervasoni, along with their own custom-designed sofas and an in-house decorating service. In addition to an array of beautiful design pieces, their home features many objects sourced from the couple’s travels abroad. A true reflection of the owners personal style, the interior gives the home so much soul without detracting from the building's original features.

With an amazing mix of lighting, furniture and art, the main bedroom is positively swoon-worthy! These include the Monte et Baisse wall lights by Daniel Gallo, Gae Aulenti’s Pipistrello lamp, Warren Platner armchairs, a Christine Crozat collage and two tribal sculptures from Morocco.
